This year, the first IHF Oceanic Nations Cup (Sep 7–11) is happening at the same venue. Because this overlap will heavily affect senior women's teams across Australia and NZ, the women's side of the NZCC will be run as a development tournament.

Here is what we are planning for this year:

• *Women* : We propose sending an U18 Women's team. Any senior women not competing in the Nations Cup are highly encouraged to join and help anchor this development squad!
• *Men* : Our Men's team will be heading over looking to go one better than last year's second-place finish and take out the top spot.

Expected Costs: Budget for under $500 per player, plus your flights and travel expenses (similar to last year).
